What kind of experience do you have?
I have been running a dog walking and pet sitting business for over 10 years now. I have experience with rescue dogs, pets with complex care needs, and I have completed a comprehensive internship with a certified trainer. If you have specific concerns or questions, please fill out our contact form. I also offer a free meet and greet to all potential new clients so we can make sure the fit is right for everyone!
What requirements does my dog need to meet to book a spot?
We want to ensure a safe and fun environment for all our clients. To facilitate this, we require the following of all our families:
- all dogs over 7 months must be spayed or neutered to be eligible for a pack walk or any group activity
- all dogs must be up to date on their core vaccination and maintain tick treatment during vet recommended months
- a completed intake questionnaire and service agreement
- an initial "meet & greet" to assess any behavioural concerns
- an initial walk with Caitlin to assess needs before being paired with another walker
How many dogs do you take at once?
We care about quality of service so, at this time, pack walk spots are limited to 5 dogs a session. This number is based on staffing ratios so we can ensure that your pup is getting the optimal care experience.
Are you insured as a pet care provider?
The Crown Pup is fully insured! We take the privilege of caring for your pets very seriously! Not only are we fully insured, but we also require a full intake form to insure that we have vet and contact information on hand at all times.
How do I know I can trust your team?
We are a relationship focused business so, we know we have to earn your trust as we work together. But, before you meet us, we show up in good faith. All walkers complete a criminal record check, several days of shadowing and training with Caitlin, and are continually assessed to ensure our dogs receive exceptional care. You will also receive a comprehensive report card at the end of each service that will outline your dog's walk, the route they took, and any exciting updates.
